Defected 5 Governors will return - Gov. Aliyu

Niger State Governor, Babangida Aliyu has said the 5 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors who defected to All Progressives Congress (APC), would soon return to PDP.

Aliyu said this immediately after the caucus meeting of PDP at the state house in Abuja. He noted that the party is re-strategizing to reconcile all its members including the five defected governors.

 He gave the assurance, while the Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam was fielding questions from journalists at the State House shortly after the caucus meeting of the PDP, and the  commencement of Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting of the party.

In 2013, 5 PDP governors defected to APC due to internal crisis within the party.
