Senator Abe flown to London for treatment

Sen. Magnus Abe, who was shot on sunday at rally in Port Harcourt has been flown to London for better and proper treatment.

He was shot in the chest by officers of the Rivers State Police Command while leading a rally organised by  Save Rivers Movement group

 He was first treated in an hospital in Port Harcourt but later flown to London for proper treatment.

Chief of Staff, Government House Port Harcourt, Tony Okocha said the police came to disrupt the meeting and that the Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike, orchestrated the attack. He also alleged that he bribed the Police Commissioner in the state, Joseph Mbu to carry out the attack.
