Buhari, Obasanjo and Amaechi ignore Council of State Meeting

Former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi were on Tuesday obviously absent at the Council of State meeting held at the Presidential Villa.

Constitutionally,   all past Presidents and Heads of States, past Chief Justices of the Federation, the 36 state incumbent governors, as well as the leadership of the National Assembly are entitled to attend the council of state meeting.

The meeting is chaired by the incumbent president.

Reasons for the obvious absence at the meeting  is yet to be known.

Meanwhile, the trio have in different fora castigated President Jonathan over the recent happenings in the country.
