CHAN 2014: Libya beat Ghana to win trophy

Libya defeated Ghana to emerge as champions of CHAN 2014 held in South Africa. The North African country won the finals on penalties after a goalless match. 

The winner goes home with $750,000 while Ghana will receive $400,000. Equally< Nigeria defeated Zimbabwe 1-0 to clinch the third position. 

Speaking at the end of the match, FIFA President, Sepp Blatter said he was at the finals to pay tributes to Nelson Mandela.

 Meanwhile, Super Eagles player, Ejike Uzoenyi was named the best player of the tournament.
