Gunmen kill 18 traders in Yobe

It has been reported that unknown Gunmen on Monday night launched a deadly attack at a  local market in Yobe town, killing 18 traders and severely injuring many others inflicting severe injuries on several others.
Also a lecturer with the Collage of Agriculture Gujba, said  to be returning from Asaka, Gombe state, was  shot dead by the fleeing assailants at Buni Gari.
The Yobe state police commissioner, Alhaji Sanusi Rufai, confirmed  that the 18 traders were killed by armed bandits in two villages in Gulani Local Government Area.
Th Yobe police boss  in a chat with journalists, revealed that "the traders were ambushed by the bandits while  travelling back from Ngalda local market."
