I will not return to PDP - Atiku

Former Vice President , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
Following the uncomplimentary comments made by the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including the Minister of Information, Labaran Maku concerning his defection  to the All Progressive Congress, former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has again reiterated his decision to dump the PDP for APC.

Atiku  insisted that under no circumstances would he return  to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),

Minister of Information, Labaran Maku has on Monday described Atiku as a "Fulani Nomad", saying that the former vice president had the penchant of being inconsistent, and always  moving from one party to the other.

Speaking to journalist after registering as APC member in his ward  Jada Local government area,Adamawa state, the former vice president  on Wednesday said  that his defection was based on the fact that PDP had neglected  the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians which brought it to power.

Atiku also expressed optimism in the APC, adding that the party will win the 2015 elections
