13 injured in US Building blast

The new year has been marred with an explosion and fire at an apartment building in Minneapolis, United States  13 people injured and  hospitalized  said Robert Ball, a spokesman for Hennepin County Emergency Medical Services. Some are in critical condition, he said.

The three-story building was destroyed, with the roof and the second and third floors collapsing.

Officials were looking into whether anyone may still be inside the building.
