APC tells Members to Block Executive Bills in N’Assembly

According to Thisday, The leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has on Thursday, told its members in the National Assembly to block the passage of all executive bills and proposals including the 2014 appropriation bill in response to alleged wrong doings of the Presidency.

At a meeting of  interim National Executive Committee (NEC) held at the National secretariat in Abuja Thursday, the party encouraged its  members at the legislative house especially the House of Representative to frustrate the passage of any bill by the president. 

The party also advise its members in Rivers State to resist any form of harassment from the Peoples Democratic Party through the state police under the leadership of the commissioner of police, Joseph Mbu.


37 PDP Members in the House of Repesentative defected to APC, thereby making APC to have a simple majority in the house.

PDP has filed a suit in the high court to refrain the legislative house from changing its leadership.
