Students of the Lagos State University, Ojo Campus went on violent protest on Thurday over inability to register on the University web portal and poor facilities.
The Students, most of whom paid more than N250,000 in schools fees protested against the shut down of the registration which could lead to an extra semester.
According to reports, the students vandalised buildings in the school and also attacked the official car vehicle of the vice chancellor. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. John Oladapo Obafunwa was equally attacked in the protest.
The students are billed to commence the second semester examination today.
The Nigerian Police are presently in the university to restore order.
