PDP is here to stay - Gov. Shema

Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Shema has said that  People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) is a party of choice and has come to stay. 

The Governor said this in  Katsina, while declaring open a 2-day conference of the states chairmen of the party.

In his speech, Shema said PDP had given the people a hope and dividends of democracy since the return of democracy.

He said Political Office holders on the platform of PDP had all provided dividends of democracy through developmental projects that affects lives.

Shema said that the PDP still has more governors and legislators than any other political parties in the country.

He urged the people to continue to support the policies of the administration, which he said, were for the betterment of people and the state.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the forum, Dr Emmanuel Agbo expressed appreciation over the level of infrastructure development in the state and said that they came to the state  for their quarterly meeting to discuss some of the party issues and the way forward.
