Reps fight over leadership tussle

According to punchng, there was chaos at  the Tuesday's session of the House of Representatives for more than 20 minutes after, the Minority Leader, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, referred to the Deputy Majority Leader, Mr. Leo Ogor, as “Deputy Minority Leader.”

Hon Gbajabiamila, a member of the All Progressives Congress, shocked the house when he referred Ogor as minority leader.

Enraged by the utterance, members of the house from Peoples Democratic Party rushed towards Gbajabiamila in a bid to attack but APC lawmakers came to his rescue.

With the defection of 37 PDP lawmakers, APC now has a simple majority of 172 members compared to 171 from PDP.

PDP has on Monday, gotten a court injunction  refraining  members of House of representative from changing the leadership of the house.
