Super Eagles Slumps to 41st Postion in FIFA Ranking

Super Eagles of Nigeria position on the FIFA ranking continues to drop in the latest ranking.

The 2013 African Champions have dropped out of the top 40 in the January edition of the FIFA World rankings released on Thursday.

The Eagles slumped from 37th  to 41st position in the world after moving down a spot in the December standings.

In Africa, they kept their spot in the top 10 in Africa but dropped from fourth to seventh place in the CAF table.

The Eagles have not enjoyed favourable ranking from FIFA despite being the current African Champions and winning a slot in the forth coming 2014 world cup. It will be noted that the current Super Eagles managed by Stephen Keshi have enjoyed praise and admirations from Nigerians at large.
