Gunmen launched a deadly attack at a church in Madagali local government area of Adamawa State, killing the pastor and 10 other worshippers of the assembly.
The attack occurred while EYN Church was holding a night service. The men of the underworld came in a convoy and shot sporadically killing 11 people including the church pastor and injuring many.
The Chairman of the local government, Ularamu Maina, confirmed the senseless attack while speaking to news men in the local government.
Maina said, the attackers, came in their numers at about 8.30 pm, stormed the church and shot the 11 people including the pastor and injuring many
“On entering the church, the attackers started shooting sporadically, killing many people, including the Pastor”, Maina stated.
The attack is coming just a week after gunmen invaded a Catholic church in the area, killing over 40 worshippers.
