IRAQ: Car bombings leave 14 dead in Baghdad
A car laden with explosives has went off in Baghdad leaving no fewer than 14 people dead and several others injured.
According to police, car bombs exploded in the Hurriya and Baladiyat districts of the capital, while two others went off in the nearby town of Mahmoudiya.
Violence has increased in Iraq after withdrawal of US soldiers from the country.
According to UN reports, no fewer than 618 civilians and 115 members of the security forces were killed in attacks last month.
