(MSN) An early morning raid by gunmen on Tuesday has resulted in the death of some 30 villagers in Plateau.
Gulfnews.com reports that 60 houses were destroyed during the attack in the Riyom Local Government Area.
According to AllAfrica.com, an eyewitness has claimed that about 100 gunmen stormed Rajat and Atakar villages and sporadically started shooting.
The victims of the raid will be laid to rest in a mass burial.
