Leader of defunct Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, NDPVF, Mujahid Dokubo Asari has restated his position that the abduction of over 200 schoolgirls from Chibok area of Borno State was a scam.
It would be recalled that last week, Asari took to his Facebook page where he publicly declared that there was no element of truth in the claim, saying that no girl was kidnapped.
The Niger Delta Activist has once again confirmed his position by staging an anti-#BringbackOurGirls protest.
Dokubo and his team of protesters were seen displaying placards with inscriptions, “Don’t play politics with my name, Chibok is a scam”, “Chibok is a scam… No parents, No pictures, No girls”.
Reports show that Asari staged the protest just few hours before the release of the latest Boko Haram video, where the kidnapped girls were said to have been converted to Islam and seen reciting the first chapter of the Qur’an.
