Boko Haram: Insurgents throw rocket launchers into market in Borno, kill 29 people

No less than 29 people are feared dead following Boko Haram attack at a Market in Ngurosoye village, Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
DailyPost gathered on Saturday that the insurgents came in hundreds of motorcycles and six Hilux vans and began shooting sporadically as they threw rocket launchers on traders in the market.
A security source  said they counted 29 lifeless bodies apart from several others who were wounded.
He said, “the situation is deteriorating with the killings increasing by day.
“I think it is high time government allowed us to move into this Sambisa and destroy all these evil people”.
Ngurosoye village, which is about 56 kilometers from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, is also a gateway into the dreaded Sambisa forest.
The attack started since the youths joined the Civilian JTF in the hunt for Boko Haram insurgents, particularly in the Bama.
Attempts to get comments from the Borno state Police Commissioner Lawal Tanko and the spokesman of the 7 Division Nigerian Army, Col. Muhammad’s Dole did not yield result as at the time of filing this report.
