At last, Jonathan confirms Tukur's resignation

After much speculations, President Goodluck Jonathan has finally confirms the resignation of the chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Bamanga Tukur. 

Jonathan announced the resignation on thursday at the  National Executive Council meeting of the party in Abuja.

He said the " resignation was mutually agreed with the chairman of the party "and that theTukur is not guilty of any offence. He promised to give the Tukur tougher assignments 

He disclosed further that a new Chairman would be nominated and submitted to the National Executive Committee for approval next week Monday.

The actions and inactions of  president Jonathan is not only disintegrating PDP but also jeopardising the Party's relevance in the Nigeria political terrain
