Breaking News: President Jonathan appoints Tukor as Chairman of Nigeria Railway Corporation

According to dailypost, President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed the former chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Bamanga Tukor as the New Chairman of Nigeria Railway Corporation.

Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sam Nwaobasi on Tuesday made this known to the public.

Tukur, a former chairman of PDP  and second republic governor of Gongola State replaces Kawu Baraje, the former factional PDP chairman, who resigned last year at the heat of the crisis.

The 80 year old politician from Adamawa state has been compensated for being forced to resign as PDP chairman due to crisis rocking the party
