Let's build APC, El-Rufai tells party aspirants

All Progressives Congress, (APC) Chieftain, Nasir El-rufai has advised party aspirants not to focus on their aspirations in the party but to channel their resources in building a party with strong and solid foundation.

 

Speaking on Saturday at the commissioning of the Niger State Secretariat of the part, El-rufai said the party should prepare itself in other to win 2015 elections

 

“I want to advise that all our aspirants campaigning now and indeed all members should go to their villages and wards to build the party. We should avoid the mistake made by CPC during the last election. We cannot afford to become a party of contestants without foundation,” El-Rufai advised.

 

He counselled party faithful's and aspirant to channel their energy and resources in building a party with strong foundation.

In addition, EL-rufai said the only way APC could win 2015 elections is to have a  solid foundation in all the states and local government of the federation.

 

 The former FCT Minister also took time to criticise the level of corruption being perpetuated by the ruling party.

 

Also speaking at the commissioning, the  party’s North Central National Vice-Chairman, General Ahmed Aboki said the party is prepared to take over all the six states in the region along with the Federal Capital Territory
