Edin Dzeko struck twice as Manchester City dominated rivals Manchester United to move second in the Premier League.
The Bosnian tapped in on 43 seconds after Samir Nasri struck the post, before United keeper David De Gea denied him a second before half-time.
Nasri's corner picked out Dzeko to double City's lead with a volley, before Joe Hart saved from Danny Welbeck's neat flick.
Yaya Toure drilled a third as City moved within three points of Chelsea.
