Fire guts CBN Office in Lagos

The Lagos office of  the Central Bank of  Nigeria  located  near  Tinubu Square, Lagos Island was gutted with fire on Tuesday evening causing panic and pandemonium within and outside the premises. 

The inferno which started from the ground floor around 5pm, has spread throughout the entire building.

 The federal and state fire agencies, are currently battling to put out the inferno. The cause of the fire incidence is yet to be unravel  and no official statement has been made by the apex bank
