Bomb blast tears Borno Apart

Twin bomb blast have occurred in a densely populated area in Maiduguri, Borno State on Saturday evening.  An unspecified number of people have been killed and several injured.

The blasts were said to have set off heavy dust and smoke in the area. Though no casualty figure has been given, the incident reportedly triggered panic, as residents were seen scampering for safety.

This attack is coming just days after the terrorists raided Federal Government College in Buni Yadi, Yobe State and some villages in Adamawa State.

The attack on the college, which has attracted condemnation both in Nigeria and abroad, left 59 students dead.
