APC Senators Oppose 2014 Budget

(Thisday) As directed by the Party Leadership, Senators on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) Tuesday vehemently opposed the content of 2014 budget as Senate opened a three-day debate on the 2014 Appropriation Bill.

Debate on the budget which was marred by a series of interruptions through recurrent Point of Order raised by senators to checkmate different speakers, tilted along party lines as the bill duly secured the support of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senators.

However, there were also senators from both parties who gave objective analysis of the content of the budget without prejudice to party affiliation
