The Speaker, said on Tuesday that he has no plan to abandon his party just because it was in crisis.
Tambuwal while speaking to journalists at Akamkpa, Cross River State where he visited Tuesday stated categorically that he remains a staunch member of the ruling party and has no plans to defect from it either now or in the near future, adding that one of the qualities of a good politician was the ability to weather the storm.
With the defection of 37 PDP Lawmakers in the legislative house, APC now has the simple majority with 172 members compared to that of 171 of PDP.
