Sea Pirates Kill Business woman and attack Joint Task Force in Bayelsa

According to Sahara Reporters, Sea pirates launched two deadly attacks on Bayelsa waterways killing one woman and severely injuring a member of Joint Task Force.

The attacks were carried out in the last three days, a commercial passenger boat as well as a patrol boat used by operatives of the Joint Task Force in the waterways and creeks of Nembe and Southern Ijaw areas of Bayelsa State were attacked

The first attack was on a commercial boat on Thursday along the coastal town of Ekeni in Southern Ijaw local government area killing a business wonan, named  Rhoda Wuka Brisibe while the second attack  was on the JTF’s patrol on Saturday near the Nembe-Bassanbiri community in Nembe.

According to Security Sources, the attack on the JTF left a soldier badly injured, who has been taken to hospital for proper medical attention.

The deceased business woman was shot in the head and her remains  had been deposited at the morgue of the Federal Medical Center in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
