Boko haram attacks leaves 52 people dead in Borno



The Boko Haram sect continues to foment havoc and violence, despite the State of Emergency declared in Borno State by the Federal Government some months ago

The latest attacks occurred on Sunday at busy market in Kawuri village,  Borno state.

The  militants numbering over 50 invaded Kawuri village in Konduga Local Government Area of the state killing scores of people, destroying homes and injuring many.

52 people were feared dead and many more injured in the deadly attacked. The militant planted bombs and explosives in the area prior to the attack.

The newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh had boasted that the military will end the Boko Haram's insurgency  in three months.
